The Matfer Bourgeat Giant Exoglass Food Skimmer is a giant professional kitchen tool, designed to ease the straining or transferring of large batch preparations, reductions, stews etc. This is designed to replace heavy stainless steel ladles and skimmers with a lightweight, practical, and ergonomic tool that reduces strain during cooking and facilitates handling. Manufactured in France, this is made of Exoglass, a patented polyamide material developed by Matfer that is highly durable, nonstick, non-porous, and easy to steralize, temperature resistant up to 428°F, and dishwasher safe. Constructed to easily scrape the bottoms and corners of cookware without scratching them, while preventing hot products from coming in contact with the hand. Perforated and non-perforated designs are available to assist in either scooping or skimming.
